Los Angeles, CA (April 7th, 2025)- At least 9 hurt in Downtown LA minivan crash after a vehicle suddenly plowed into a crowd of pedestrians on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities. The disturbing incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. near 326 E. 12th Street in the heart of the Fashion District, steps away from the bustling Santee Alley marketplace.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) confirmed that nine individuals were injured in the crash, including three minors. All patients were reported to be in “fair condition,” but such an incident’s emotional and physical impact can linger far beyond initial medical assessments.

Among those injured were three boys aged 8, 11, and 17, who were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Additionally, four adult women, aged 54, 65, 30, and 23, were also hospitalized.
