A man riding a bicycle lost his life Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Fairview and 12th Streets in Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department. Officers and firefighters were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:09 p.m., arriving to find the cyclist with injuries he would not survive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating fully with investigators.
