Los Angeles, CA (June 17, 2025)- Deadly Collision Shuts Down the I-405 when two vehicles collided early Monday near the Getty Center, leaving one person dead and traffic snarled for hours. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 3:32 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway just south of Getty Center Drive. One car came to rest in the HOV lane while the other was found facing the wrong direction, creating a perilous scene for responding crews.
