Los Angeles, CA (June 20th, 2025)- Long Beach Crash Claims Life of Semi-Truck Driver after a tragic incident involving two big rigs early Wednesday morning. According to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD), the victim was struck and fatally injured after exiting his parked semi-truck on Pier T Avenue.

The crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. in the 2600 block of Pier T Avenue, an industrial area near the Port of Long Beach. Officers responded to the scene following reports of a serious traffic collision. When they arrived, paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department were already attending to the semi-truck driver. Unfortunately, despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The impact caused the man to fall, and in a devastating turn of events, he was run over by his truck.

The second driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating fully with investigators. At this time, the identity of the deceased is being withheld until family members have been notified.
