Motorcyclist Identified in Garden Grove Accident [Orange County, CA]

Orange County, CA (JAN 10TH, 2025) – A tragic Garden Grove accident involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle claimed the life of 36-year-old Santiago Higareda Jr., authorities reported. The fatal collision occurred Tuesday night in the 12000 block of Euclid Street, near Chapman Avenue, just north of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway.

The crash involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a 2017 Audi A6, according to the Garden Grove Police Department. Officers arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. and found the motorcyclist unresponsive. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Higareda was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Department, the victim, who was transient, has since been identified.
