Los Angeles, CA (Jan 23rd, 2026)- Pedestrian Killed in Beverly Grove Accident Identified by Officials as a 74-year-old man who lost his life after being struck by a vehicle at a busy Beverly Grove intersection, according to county authorities.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 1:08 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard, an area near the Beverly Center known for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

According to police, the vehicle involved in the crash was traveling northbound on La Cienega Boulevard when it struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway at or near San Vicente Boulevard. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Leopold Trumpet. Emergency responders transported Trumpet by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts.
