What Happened
According to the Pomona Police Department, officers responded just after 9:30 p.m. to a domestic violence call in the 400 block of East 10th Street. While officers were on scene speaking with the victim, the suspect — later identified as 31-year-old Marshall Judson of Pomona — returned to the location in a black Dodge pickup truck and deliberately rammed a parked patrol vehicle before speeding away. Officers initiated a pursuit that ended at the intersection of South Garey Avenue and County Road, near the 60 Freeway, when Judson’s truck slammed into a silver Ford sedan at high speed. Video from the scene captured debris strewn across the roadway, including clothing and a baby car seat. A firearm and firearm components were later recovered from the suspect’s truck.
