The driver switched off the vehicle’s headlights and accelerated away. Officers chose not to initiate a pursuit. Minutes later, the Infiniti blew through a red light at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard, striking three other vehicles — a blue Honda Accord, a red Toyota Camry, and a white Cadillac Escalade. The force of the impact left all four vehicles with severe damage. Traffic cameras at the intersection captured the moment the Infiniti entered the intersection against the light.
Emergency Response and Investigation
Anaheim Police and fire personnel responded immediately to the scene. Traffic investigators remained on-site for several hours, marking physical evidence, taking measurements, and working to reconstruct the full sequence of the crash.
