WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage a high volume of cases, negotiating lien reductions for department attorneys.
Negotiate and resolve liens with healthcare providers, insurers, and governmental programs.
Communicate effectively with clients and healthcare providers during lien negotiations.
Handle incoming liens mail and email promptly, reviewing documents efficiently.
Perform administrative tasks such as document processing and organization.
Maintain electronic and hardcopy files in compliance with firm policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university.
Proficiency in personal injury or worker’s compensation lien negotiation processes.
Familiarity with governmental healthcare provider policies and procedures (Medicare, Medi-Cal, VA).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong reasoning skills and effective presentation abilities.
Proficiency in spreadsheet management for data analysis.
Competence in computerized information and database record-keeping systems.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively by phone and email.
Experience in negotiating and resolving liens with healthcare providers and insurers.
