Los Angeles CA (June 5, 2024) – A motorcyclist fatally injured in a Woodland Hills incident has been identified as 31-year-old Allyson Kiran Sabharwal.
The tragic event occurred on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway when her motorcycle was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
The incident was reported near the De Soto Avenue off-ramp at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday. Responding to the scene, the Los Angeles Fire Department found Sabharwal unresponsive on the pavement.
Despite rapid intervention by paramedics, she was declared deceased at the site.
Initial reports suggest that a subsequent collision might have occurred involving another vehicle, which could have struck Sabharwal after the first impact.
The California Highway Patrol, which is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, had to shut down multiple freeway lanes near Topanga Canyon Boulevard to facilitate their investigation.
