A 23-year-old motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in Riverside on Thursday following a collision with a minivan.
According to Sgt. Emilio Angulo of the Riverside Police Department, the accident occurred around 1:20 p.m. when a 2021 Harley motorcycle heading west on Victoria Avenue collided with a 2003 Dodge Caravan traveling south on Grace Street.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics were quickly on the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released, and the condition of the minivan driver was reported as having non-life-threatening injuries. Although it is unclear if the minivan driver was also taken to a hospital, the Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigative Team is actively looking into the details of the incident.
