Los Angeles, CA (July 6, 2024)- A tragic Three-Vehicle Collision in South Los Angeles resulted in the death of a 12-year-old girl and left three other minors and six adults injured on Friday evening.
The accident occurred in the 600 block of East Century Boulevard, near Avalon Boulevard, at approximately 6:15 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene to assist the victims. Among those involved was a woman who required extrication from her vehicle. She was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Nicholas Prange reported that five other adults were taken to hospitals in fair condition, while the three other juveniles were admitted in moderate condition. Tragically, the 12-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has been withheld pending notification of her next of kin.
