Los, Angeles, CA (MAY, 6, 2024)-A tragic incident occurred on Monday morning when a construction worker died in a freeway crash involving a box truck in Chino.
The accident took place around 8:30 a.m. on the northbound 71 Freeway near Euclid Avenue, approximately 40 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
The box truck veered off the right shoulder, rolling down an embankment and striking two construction workers contracted by Caltrans, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
