Moreno Valley, CA (APR. 23, 2024) – A devastating car accident claimed the life of a 38-year-old driver and left his passenger injured late Monday night in the area north of Moreno Valley.
The tragic incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road, close to Deadwood Court, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol. Adrian Magallanes of Redlands was at the wheel of his 2005 Nissan Titan when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the crash site, but unfortunately, Magallanes was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The front-seat passenger, whose name has not been released, sustained moderate injuries during the collision and was transported to a regional trauma center for medical care. The passenger is expected to make a full recovery, providing some relief amidst this tragic event.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, including whether any alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the incident.
